Aahaaaaaaaaaaaaay!! can you see me??
You climbers are seriously taking your time!! You're not supposed to camp beneath the mountain, start walking first and then camp for a little while where you can have a nice view of the whole surroundings...
I remember whenever I taught or if I were to ask someone to write a journal or just simply write something. Immediately they would ask "WHAT ABOUT??". or "eexcuse me vaat ees de titel?" I thought of this since I was thinking why do we never want the freedom of writing whatever we feel like? This is all from the top of my mind, I haven't really given it a lot of thought, and maybe you could help me on this. I think writing is like any other aspect of our lives in learning that we always want to be "told" what to do. We never want to "learn". Like the story of the Jews and the yellow cow in Quran. ANY COW would have done the trick but no we want to trap ourselves inside a web of facts.
Why can't we just WRITE? Maybe it's because we've been told so many times what to write about and the "structure" of the writing and everything that we simply can't "think" anymore. For this purpose I was criticizing all the writing about colors in the first place but now I believe that whatever gets you thinking is positive and will inshallah lead to good places.
In our Farsi classes we used to have a subject "Enshaa" in which they would give us a topic and we had to write an essay on that specific topic. The subject and the way it was implemented was so terrible that I wouldn't even bother writing anything sometimes. I would take a blank sheet of paper or just open up my notebook to a random page and start talking about the issue as if I was reading over what I had written. I would get caught sometimes since they wanted the actual copy to mark it!!
I'll elaborate more on this later inshalalh...
